Immerse yourself in one of the world’s
oldest cultures while you make a difference and share your own culture.
Our program offers the chance to volunteer in a variety of diverse
projects located throughout Thailand. Experience Thai Culture through
visiting historic sites throughout the country, meeting locals as
well as people from all over the world, and most importantly, making
a difference in a place with many needs.
We currently offer four core projects to choose
from throughout Thailand. You can volunteer in projects ranging
from teaching English in rural Thailand to working on an organic
farm, or learning how to make natural fertilizer at a sustainable
living center. Whatever project you choose to work on, you
are sure to have an amazing time while giving some of your
time and energy to a community project that can use it!
Our Volunteer Thailand program is suitable for
both individuals and groups. We can accommodate a group of
up to 10 people at a time.
You can also combine your volunteer experience
with a week of tours in Thailand! We offer the option of choosing
to volunteer on a project for anywhere from one to four weeks,
and then begin a week of tours after you have finished your
volunteer assignment.

Ecological Conservation
Projects
Volunteer at an ecological project and contribute to
the Thailand environment through helping develop educational media
tools to use in a forest conservation learning center, assisting
in the development of eco-tourism, and assisting in a variety of
activities to provide environmental education to local villagers.
These projects aim to integrate people who live around and in a
natural park located in the South or North to be involved in forest
conservation, and not to look for short term gain by burning trees,
invading preserved forest areas for agricultural use, illegal logging,
etc. more details
Organic Farm
Choose to work on an organic rice field or an
organic fruit orchard. Help with the day to day workings of
the farm, learn about the organic farming process, planting,
weeding, harvesting, and possibly serve as a guide to tourists
learning about their methods. more details
Sustainable Learning
Center
Sustainable living has been given the term “Sufficiency
Economy Living” in Thailand, based on a philosophy initiated
by King Rama 9 to help maintain a balanced life in our hectic,
fast-paced world. The philosophy emphasizes living a balanced
life, being self dependent and sufficient, and displaying
solid morals and ethics. When this principle was translated
into a rural agricultural community, the first 2 principles
are heavily emphasized by promoting self-sufficient living
and restoring ecological balance to the land. Sufficiency
economy is now one of Thailand’s most important national
economic and social development priorities. Many Sustainable
Learning Centers have been created to help people become less
dependant on money, and provide classes on how to make basic
necessities such as shampoo, soap, dishing washing liquid,
detergent, multipurpose cleaners, bio diesel, and more. The
Sustainable Learning Center also places importance on eliminating
the use of all chemical products in the villager’s farming
process. Volunteers may choose from a variety of tasks, and
can help out in all aspects in the functioning of the center.
Choose to volunteer in the workshops, where you will learn
how to make natural soap, detergent and shampoo, bio diesel,
activated carbon (charcoal) and natural/ herbal fertilizer.
You can also work in the kitchen and learn how to make healthy
Thai food, as well as labor work in the area surrounding the
learning center to prepare for the workshops. Volunteers may
also assist with office work, administration, translating
materials into English, website development and database management.
