Take your enthusiasm and passion for learning
and helping people to Ecuador, where you can work on a medical
project that will allow you to experience first-hand the Latin
America healthcare system.
You and your group members can spend 2 weeks
to 4 weeks providing assistance to doctors and nurses in local hospitals
and medical clinics. Depending on Spanish level and experience,
you will be able to rotate through the emergency room, pediatrics,
obstetrics, internal medicine, and even surgery, gaining experience
by both observing a variety of procedures, and at times providing
direct assistance to the physicians.
