February 14th, 2009 : CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE
Come meet us at the CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE UNIVERSITY in Austin, TX:
Austin Convention Center
Ballroom D
12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
4:15 pm - 5:45 pm
This weekend was a remarkable experience! Three days of non-stop activity, from inspiring speakers to community service project in East Austin. We were the ONLY Volunteering Abroad organization represented and we were soooo proud to represent our Nyanga's Children project to hundreds of wonderful students committed to make a positive impact in the world. Let's admit it, we were also very excited to be in the same place than President Clinton, Natalie Portman and Matthew McConaughey!
March
23rd, 2009: THE ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE
Reserve your tickets here! If we have more than 80 people who purchase their tickets online, the Alamo will grant us with a bigger screening room. All ticket proceeds go toward the fundraising efforts.
At 7pm, we will be showing the movie Testing Hope, from the filmmaker, Molly Blank. The film has won many awards and goes hand in hand with our cause as it is set in the same township where we will be heading in November.
You can see all the details here: http://www.matricthefilm.com/index.html
January 24th, 2009: HIGH SCHOOL

It was the Back to School Bash party! 80 guests in costume came to support our fundraising efforts. Lot of networking opportunities took place during this event which we count on exploring very soon for our media coverage and buzz!
